Replace your ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR on time
What is the temperature sensor?
The engine coolant temperature sensor or more colloquially, the temp sensor, determines the engine temperature. When the engine is cold, the fuel/air mixture needs to be richer than when the engine is hot.
The coolant temperature sensor measures the engine’s temperature and adjusts the air/fuel mixture accordingly until the temperature has reached 80°C. At this point the temperature sensor which actually looks like a valve, opens to allow the coolant to flow through the engine.
